To encourage the playing of the game of cricket through the provision of practice and playing facilities, coaching and fixtures for all playing members. We are particularly passionate about youth cricket and provide opportunities for boys and girls from the age of 5.
Why the community needs us
We provide opportunities for volunteers to become involved in all aspects of running a cricket club. We are particularly proud of our year round youth coaching programme and we are also one of the few clubs that provide dedicated playing opportunities for women and girls.
Our impact on the community
Stony Stratford Cricket Club has objectives to promote and provide facilities for the playing of cricket and the sporting, social and recreational activities of its members. The club respects the rights, dignity and worth of every person and will treat everyone equally within the context of sport, regardless of race, age, ethnicity, gender, religious beliefs, sexuality, social/economic status or level of ability.
