St Oswald's Hospice provides specialist care for adults,young people and children with life limiting conditions in North East. At St Oswald's we value the life of each person who we care for and we are committed to excellence in Specialist Palliative Care.

St Oswald's provide care to local adults, young people, children and their families. We do not charge for our service, ensuring hospice care is available to everyone. We provide an inpatient service, outpatients service along with a Lymphoedema, day treatment service to local adults. Patients and families are offered access to a range of teams including our complementary therapy, social work, bereavement support, chaplaincy, physiotherapy and occupational therapy teams.

Adults Inpatients: Until last year there were 191 completed inpatients stays. Patients stayed for an average of 25 days. 4975 bed days were occupied during the year. Children's Services: We saw an average of 23 children staying with us each month. 390 overnight stays were provided. We have extended provision to young people up to 25 years old.
