The Sussex MS Treatment Centre is a self help charity that provides drug free treatments, classes and social opportunities for people living with long term neurological conditions in the Sussex region. We support each other with managing symptoms and staying positive. Our aims are to maintain flexibility and mobility, promote well being and a positive attitude and build friendship. We strive to keep our services affordable and accessible to all.

Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic, progressive condition affecting the nervous system and can lead to a variety of disabilities. It is variable and unpredicatable. As yet, it has no cure. The impact that it has varies for every individual depending on their disease pattern and severity. We all need long term, specialist support to help us meet the challenges that living with MS presents.

The treatments and classes at the centre help to maintain or improve our current abilities. They provide symptom relief, and help to ward off secondary disabilities. The community spirit at the centre counters the isolation and loss of confidence which can be caused by our disabilities. Peer support, expertise of staff and therapists, and the library of published material keep us up to date and informed, enabling us to stay in control, manage symptoms more effectively,and feel better!
