We are a charitable wildlife rescue centre, open 24/7, specialising in the treatment & care of sick and injured swans in the Thames Valley & surrounding areas. Our volunteers have over 25 years experience in the rescue & rehabilitation of swans. We are also passionate about educating the public about our wildlife, ensuring they are aware of the risks to the heath of the swans & other water birds. We work closely with The Queen's Swan Marker, the RSPCA, Henley Royal Regatta & the rescue services
Why the community needs usWe are fully dedicated to the welfare & care of swans & other waterfowl in your local area. We could not do our work without the assistance of you,the general public and the local communities who call in rescues, support us with donations & volunteer your time. At every opportunity, we engage with you about our work and offer education through our talks to local schools and community groups, illustrating how you can help us keep the swans safe & well and enjoy the beauty of the rivers & wildlife
Our impact on the communityOur number one aim is the welfare of the swans in your area as well as having close connections with and supporting your community. We will provide information on how to best enjoy the wildlife in your area. In 2018, we rescued over 1000 swans, and were involved in the containment of bird flu in the Windsor area, ensuring members of the public were not at risk, whilst also caring for the swans. With your continued help, we want to expand our reach with the local wildlife and to continue education
