TCG (Tattenhoe Community Group) aims to promote well-being of the residents in the area, to provide events for cultural, social and recreational welfare and to foster a community spirit. This year our events have included the Easter Egg Hunt, Tattenbury, Bulb Planting and soon the Christmas Party. Previously TCG was writing and printing a newsletter twice a year which went to every house hold since 2008 aiming to build a positive society, however these days TCG uses its website and facebook.

Since the voluntary project started many mums have connected on the estate and helped each other out in many supportive ways. Families who want to support having events have found that their children feel proud of the estate. Adults who have supported the project are finding their social network is improving leading to an overall feeling of being part of the community more wellbeing and social interaction - a basic human need.

To promote a healthier lifestyle, a sense of belonging, a safe environment and pride in the local community for all ages.
