To give disabled people aged 18 years and above the opportunity to participate in Sports, Physical and Social activities each month. To help them gain new skills through taking part in these activities. Through a friendly and welcoming environment we encourage our members to take part and gain extra health & fitness and to use all their physical and mental functions in achieving this aim. Based at 'Osterley Sports & Athletics Centre' but anyone with a disability can become a club member.

Why the community needs us
Many disabled people are restricted in accessing various forms of Sports and Social Activities, due to being unable to obtain accessible transport to get them to these. Also facilities are not always disability friendly or provide a welcoming environment. The 2000 Club provide accessible vehicles to ensure people with a disability are able to access our hired facilities once a month on 2nd Sunday. Our sports & recreational sessions give disabled people an outlet to meet and gain new friends.

Our impact on the community
Due to the provision of accessible transport to those who are unable to get to our club any other way, people with a disability are able to access the activities we offer each month. We are able to help some disabled people overcome their lack of self esteem and to gain confidence through Sports & Leisure. People attending develop long lasting friendships with other members of the club. We help with their health and fitness & encourage this outside of our club sessions in there own homes etc.
