Our mission is to provide a first class resource to encourage people of all ages to develop their personal,social and learning skills and to raise awareness of an alternative and healthy lifestyle.

Our centre is situated in the most deprived ward of Sutton in Ashfield which is characterised by high unemployment, low pay, poor health, poor educational attainment, high crime, high teenage pregnancy rates, high levels of disaffection and increasing community apathy. All of the characteristics normally associated with deprived inner-city areas. We offer projects and learning activities to address some of these issues and to provide a safe secure place for people to meet and socialise.

We pride ourselves in the fact that we have influenced people's lives in a positive way. i.e. A number of individuals having gone to university after attending learning courses at the centre and other individuals who have developed skills such as communication and grown in confidence in ways that have enabled them to build strong and lasting relationships.
