The foundation exist to help improve the quality of life of people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS. Our mission is to carry out projects and activities that will help maximise the potential of the lives of those living with the disease and for them to recognise that living with HIV or AIDS does not need to stop one from achieving their dreams and having a family life.

Why the community needs us

Our projects largely focus on supporting people from West African origin living with and affected by HIV/AIDS, particularly in dealing with the stigma, which it generates from within the community. Beneficiaries of the project are mainly from the London Borough of Southwark. The programmes provide a holistic approach to healthy living. Hence, there are opportunities for networking, relationship building and activities for enhancing the welfare and happiness of our service users.

Our impact on the community

Outcomes of our programmes are expected to inspire, inform and enable people affected by HIV/AIDS to overcome their many challenges, such as inabilities to access physical activities, low aspirations, limited confidence and self-esteem, as well as associated health risk factors. Other projected outcomes include the following: Better chances in life -Provide peer support for beneficiaries, as a means to facilitate their social inclusion -Contribute to improved leisure and social welfare
