All our committee and unpaid volunteers work together to raise funds which will enable us to take our new replica Thrislington Lodge Banner into the Durham Miners Gala each year with the accompaniment of the Ripon City Band.We also have a mining exhibition in the Community Centre which the residents of West Cornforth are encouraged to attend, people can find out about their mining heritage. Children from the local primary school like to come along and learn about their villages mining history.
