Towards Tomorrow Together aim to relieve the distress experienced by parents who have lost a baby during pregnancy, labour, birth, or as an infant. Through the provision of services and resources at the time of loss, as healing begins and at key times during the grief process Towards Tomorrow Together provide hope to Somerset families at this difficult time.

Why the community needs us
The baby loss community within Somerset now have access to: Baby loss support groups, the use of a cuddle cot (cooling system) at the funeral directors and the hospitals, the use of Butterfly Boxes if a baby dies from 24 weeks gestation or on the neo natal unit, a stay and play session for families with children born before or after the loss, a family day out. They will soon have access to specialist antenatal support, holistic therapies, parent mentoring and advocacy services.

Our impact on the community
60 families a year will have access to our books and resources and Butterfly Boxes when they stay in the Rowan Bereavement Suite at Musgrove Park Hospital. Parents can access baby loss support groups in Bridgwater and Taunton and a stay and play session in Taunton. Email and telephone support is currently provided as and when needed, and will become more formally provided in the future. Many more families will receive support in subsequent pregnancy as the Charity develops.
