Why the community needs usWe have been running and thriving for 10 years. Originally founded by parents who recognised the need for this resource. Housed in a prefab building in the grounds of Meonstoke Infant School.45 children on roll at present. Wonderful educational resource per se, but also helps the continued health of the local Infants and Junior schools, which were themselves threatened with closure 10 years ago. Also because of our rural location and poor transport links, access to other preschools is limited
Our impact on the communityEssential bed-rock for starting our very young children on their learning journey. Children invariably move into Meonstoke school next door. The move of pre-school into new modern well equipped premises is vital for continuity and life of the local community. It provides local jobs and prevents long car journeys to alternative preschools, because of limited transport links. Enables children and families to build relationships with local community.
