WAND is a womens network in Dorset. We have 3 main aims -SOCIAL WAND:Making new friendships and networking and getting together for activities and social events.SERIOUS WAND-We are members of local and national networks and organisations that campaign for womens rights,and organise awareness raisisng events,such as Reclaim the Night and conferences.SUPPORTIVE WAND-drawing on our collective experiences and networks to help.

We aim to improve emotional health and wellbeing for women across Dorset, especially focussed on ending violence against women.We arrange awaeness raising events, and offer training and information opportunites for organsiatiosn that work with women, but also directly to vulnerable women, by offering a safe supportive environment for them to disclose concerns and seek help. We try to end social isolation through a range of female friendly activites suitable for all ages and backgrounds.
