Why the community needs usWarrington Youth Club support young people aged 7-19 (25 with a disability) through our Open Access Provisions, Girls Group, Stay Safe, Independent Living Skills, National Citizen Service and our bespoke befriending service: Buddy Up. We are hoping to move into mentoring in 2013 and also have plans for our Youth Village to launch in 2013 - which is the first Youth Village in the UK - which is a social enterprise ran by young people.
Our impact on the communityWarrington Youth Club is a user led service, we currently have over 9,000 young people from Warrington and the surrounding areas using our services. We are quickly expanding as you can see my our attendance figures in August 2010, 140 young people attendances were recorded, in 2011, 1400 were recorded and in 2012 4100 attendances were recorded, showing how quickly we are expanding which is fantastic and we cannot wait to support more local young people.
