We encourage educational and social benefit within our creative programme. We build relationships around creativity, conversation and knowledge exchange. We are a space where everyone is actively welcomed and where participation in creative activity is encouraged. We focus on sustainable change and improvement. We value the input and ideas of others.
Our impact on the communityA small, experienced staff team work collaboratively with a core group of 40-60 active volunteers to deliver Woodend Barn's programme of events, performances and educational workshops. Our volunteers bring a range of skills and expertise to our operations and contribute approximately £100,000 of in kind hours each year. In 2013, the Barn held over 150 shows and 120 workshops and attracted over 18,000 visitors from a large geographic area covering Deeside and beyond.
