The Yorkshire Youth Choir is one of the projects run by Northern Orchestral Enterprises (NOEL) based in Halifax. We supplement musical provision in schools, providing workshops both vocal and instrumental, run a hugely popular annual Singing For Fun Festival for local primary schools, and manage a Future Heroes Project for the Calderdale Foundation which provides support for young musicians from local secondary schools.

We enable people of all ages, but particularly young people to engage in musical activities, in particular singing, as a development of musicality, vocal technique, concentration, confidence, social awareness and responsibility

Over some 20 years we have worked with thousands of people of all ages and the evaluations and testimonials we have received bear fantastic witness to the value of our work
