Gledhow Fields Community Playground is used by so many children every day. Opened in March 1999 after being fundraised for by the local community, it hasn't been touched since. It has become very run, some equipment not safe for small children, and there isn't enough equipment for the volume of users.

We are looking to have the Playground revamped to make it safer for our children.

We are in the very early stages, and are working closely with out local councillors who are in full support.

We have been quoted an initial £100,000 for this project.
