Anybody can find themselves in a crisis – but together we can empower women and change lives in Birmingham for the better.
After all, most of us have been affected in some way by the very same challenges our women are facing – hardships over money, relationships, family and job prospects.
Mental health, loneliness, abuse, low self-esteem, relationships, unemployment, family troubles and addiction can and often does affect all of our lives as well the lives of our families, loved ones, colleagues and communities.
By supporting Anawim, you are showing that you care. By helping traumatised women overcome their obstacles and helping children and families facing unimaginable challenges, you are sending a positive message to our women that society cares about them. And a woman who feels valued by the community around her is better equipped to value herself.
Together we can create a platform on which women can stand and have their voices heard, challenge gender gaps and stereotypes, and prevent future generations from having to battle the same systems which have been designed without consideration for women’s specific needs.
