As one of its 2023 projects Beeston In Bloom are going to purchase a specially designed bench costing over £2,000 to mark the coronation of King Charles in May. As regular followers will be aware we usually raise money for our projects via grant funding and plant sales around four times a year but we realise the cost of the bench is beyond these limits and don’t wish to put other projects we have in mind at risk. We know that it’s a big ask in the current financial climate but if anyone is willing to ‘chip in’ no matter how small the amount it would be greatly appreciated by the group.  We think the bench will be a great addition to the area and will be placed just off Old Lane outside St Andrews Church for everyone to use.
