Carers Trust South East Wales is the leading provider of practical support for carers and those with care needs in South East Wales. Our services support unpaid carers in their caring role through advice and information, support, advocacy and short breaks. We provide services to carers of all ages and specialise in dementia support, health and wellbeing and community based projects. We also provide domiciliary and care services, giving carers a much needed break.
Why the community needs us
We work across 10 local authorities in South East Wales, delivering services that meet the needs of local communities. Our carers hubs and social centres are the corner stones in the communities in which we work. Carers are at the heart of what we do and we work to ensure they are getting the support they require and are connected to the services and people that matter to them.
Our impact on the community
Of the 370,000 people who are identified as carers in Wales, last year we helped roughly a quarter of these carers.
