Chiltern Music Therapy is an innovative and inclusive organisation providing specialist music therapy and community music sessions to people of all ages with a range of needs including learning disabilities, Autism, Brain injury, dementia, mental-health and emotional difficulties, stroke & Parkinson's disease sufferers and those with life-threatening illnesses. We are creating a circle of music care for everyone who accesses our services, and our dedication to research and evidence in the field of Music Therapy, means that we can be confident in offering the best care for our clients and their families. We value the importance of access to specialist Music Therapy and this is why we fundraise - to ensure that everyone can benefit. Why the community needs us
We meet our clients and their families where they need us most. Our services are delivered at home, in the community, in hospitals, and in care settings. We offer both in-person therapy and online sessions to provide flexible support for those who need it. The demand for our services remains high, and we are committed to using music and music therapy to reach anyone who requires our assistance.
Our impact on the community
We support over 2,500 people each year – our youngest client being a 30-week gestational age infant and our oldest being 97 years of age. We are privileged to work with individuals across the lifespan, supporting them and their families to live their lives to the fullest potential.
