Lewisham Local connects the community of people, organisations and businesses to raise awareness of Lewisham's needs and increase local giving of time, skills, support and money to help make Lewisham a better place! 

Our Mission is to:

• Connect and Collaborate with individuals, community groups, businesses and statutory organisations
• Encourage all to give and share what they can; time, skills, expertise, knowledge, resources and money
• Respond to needs and opportunities through events, projects and communications
• Raise awareness of existing and emerging community needs 
• Promote and strengthen Lewisham’s voluntary and community groups
• Promote asset-based community development, making the most of what we already have in Lewisham
• Increase the impact and sustainability of Lewisham Local

Lewisham Local is the name of the charity that has existed for over 20 years serving local communities in Lewisham. The charity was previously known by the name Rushey Green Time Bank.

Lewisham Local has grown to host over a dozen projects that service the local community, including Rushey Green Time Bank, FoodCycle Lewisham, and Wild Cat Wilderness, all of which have a project giving page if you would like to donate directly to them.
