Sanctuary Strikers train each Tuesday and compete in matches each Sunday. Refugees do not pay any money to train or play with the team, but we do ask non-refugees to provide a small contribution.

Sanctuary Strikers FC are Reading's only Refugee Football Club. Started by a former client and a Volunteer at RRSG, the club is aimed at promoting integration, bringing together Refugees and non-Refugees with the power of football. Sanctuary Strikers are currently playing in Reading & District's Sunday League, Division 3.

We needs your support! Referee fees are £36 per match, costing us £720 for our 20 matches. Pitch Hire costs £36 per match, costing us £720 for our 20 matches. We have to hire a Training Pitch to practice during the Winter, costing £52 per week, which totals at £1,040 for 20 weeks. We also have to pay for kit, balls, equipment and more. If you can give a regular donation towards these costs, we would all be incredibly grateful.
