What we do...

The Hub is a focal point for community groups, charities, businesses and local residents to find out what is going on. Our offices in Commercial Courtyard provide a venue for a range of activities including Barclays pop up banking service, various wellbeing groups and also Settle Community Fridge.

Why the community needs us
We are a really well connected organisation and so work closely with others to make sure Settle folk can get the help or information they need.

Our impact on the community
We have adapted quickly during and after covid and currently offer a range of activities including twice weekly Public Living Room events at Settle Quakers, Community Fridge, Knit and Natter group and a community allotment. We co-ordinate 'Cobra meetings' for local organisations for general feedback and updates on what is happening and are a general source of info and signposting for local residents, businesses and community groups.

Volunteers needed

We have lots of ideas in the pipeline and there are always things that need doing at the hub. We are particularly interested in finding people to join an advisory group to help shape our future or anyone interested in getting more involved as a director.
