Many of our visitors do not drive, are on a low income and live alone, so trips out are a real treat. A meal out in a cafe or restaurant is something many of them never do for a range of reasons so we try and arrange these sort of things when we have some funding. A steam train or a half day of falconry are very enjoyable and memorable outings that really give everyone a bit of a lift.
