Shetland Wool Week is run by a small charity, the Shetland Amenity Trust, and like so many others we are facing challenging and uncertain times.
We run Shetland Wool Week as a celebration of our outstanding textiles heritage and to support and grow all aspects of the industry today.
We began working on our 2020 event back in August 2019 and had already invested a great deal of time and money. Cancelling the event due to Covid-19 has had a big impact on us as a charity. We hope that you enjoy the continuing online content that we share on our website, in our newsletters and on Instagram and Facebook. Any support – large or small – is gratefully received and will help us to secure the future of an event which is so important to Shetland and its visitors.
