Whether you’re in remission, living with cancer or just been diagnosed, we understand because we’ve been there. Angry, upbeat or just in need of some support? Whatever feels right, We Get It. Wherever you’re at, however you feel, We Get It.

Why the community needs us
When you go through cancer diagnosis and treatment, you often feel a need for extra help when
you step outside those hospital walls. Most of all, you need a way to connect with others who
know how you feel.

At We Get It, we fill that gap, providing support, information and a vital community made up of local people who understand and have been there.

We offer get-togethers, workshops, resources, events as well as social media groups and an up-to-date website. So whether you need to meet like-minded people or just want to get in touch online, we are there for you.

Our impact on the community
In just a year of operation, we’ve brought people together in a variety of ways: coffee mornings,
pub nights, friends and family hangouts, workshops plus special events tackling the cancer conversations that need to happen. Connecting people in our community to local services, practitioners or resources that can make a difference.
