Hi !
My name is Ben! I am a youth worker at Free2Talk CIC and I am running at Bedford Running Festivals 10k twilight run!
Like many other voluntary organisations, we rely on funding to provide young people with the support that they need. Free2Talk have been providing support for young people in Northampton for over a decade and I want to show my gratitude to them and the amazing young people by raising as much money as I can. Free2Talk provide support in the form of youth clubs, mentoring, music programmes, community development and so much more. The role they play in supporting young people and communities cannot be measured through statistics. Any young person who has been to Free2Talk will tell you it is a welcoming, non judgemental and friendly environment where everyone is free to be who they want to be and a place where young people get to make decisions that affect their lives. This is a place every young person deserves.
So please donate what you can. I know times are hard at the moment. However all money donated will go towards supporting young people and communities across Northampton and will go towards creating a safer, happier and more supportive environment for the young people. They are the future and we need to protect and support them by giving them opportunities to grow, learn and even make mistakes.
