On 27th April 2025 I’ll be taking on the London Marathon. I’ve been blessed to be given the opportunity to run on behalf of MoorVision.

MoorVision, a local Devon Charity,  provide activities and shared experiences in Devon for families of children and young people (aged 0-25) with vision impairments. Many of the children this charity supports have a wide range of vision impairments and many with additional needs. They also offer information, advice, support and advocacy on education, healthcare, sport, benefits, social and leisure opportunities.

I was introduced to MoorVision by my partner Lou. Her daughter Neve, has Nystagmus, which is known as dancing eyes and is registered as visually impaired. Over the years MoorVision has provided invaluable support and a network of others with similar impairment.

I’d love to be able to give back to them. Having learned about the valuable work that they do, and the difference they make to the young people and their families, makes this fund raising effort extra special. They are a very small charity and need all the help and support available to keep running.

This won’t be my first marathon, but as anyone who runs distance knows, doing one doesn’t make the next any easier!

All I need you to do is sit comfortably and dig deep with a donation. I'll do the running and feel the pain.

Thank you

Steve
