Jubilee-athon 2023 –24 Hour Sponsored Swim for Jubilee Pool - Winter Energy Appeal

Jubilee Pool has been saved by the community for the community, but we still need your help to meet our operating costs hit by the recent steep rise in energy prices.

On 30 September 2022, after many years of campaigning and months of business planning, the swimming pool and gym became the first in Bristol to be taken into community ownership.

We know that the building requires a significant amount of repair which will take time and money, and we’re keen to see these works start, but for now we need to focus on our short-term future.

This autumn and winter we’re facing soaring gas and electricity bills as wholesale energy prices rise.

Jubilee Pool and Gym has a thriving membership and a strong community of support, which we need to revive and grow, but we know that increasing the membership alone isn’t enough to overcome our estimated deficit of £1,800 per week.

Everyone is facing challenging times but we’re asking for your donations to help us through this tough winter so that we can secure this vital community asset for the future.

Thank you for your support
