I'm taking part in a 24 hour swimming relay over the weekend of 29 and 30 January 2022 to raise money to support the next steps in saving Jubilee Swimming Pool.
I'll be swimming for an hour at 6am (😱) on Sunday 30th.
For 85 years Jubilee Swimming Pool in Knowle, Bristol has been a vital leisure facility for its local community. Now the swimming pool is under serious threat from closure with Bristol City Council proposing to shut the doors forever in March 2022.
The pool has been a lovely little place for me to take my son, as it has for many other local families. If you're against the idea of closing local facilities to cut costs, homogenising leisure facilities and handing large operators a monopoly, donate a few quid to help secure the future of this great community pool.
