Whilst schools are closed, many children (ours included) are at home, stuck in front of screens all day and getting no fresh air or exercise. We wanted to encourage them to get outside and do some exercise, just a small bit, each day.
The question is how to motivate them to exercise? What better way than to give their exercise a really worthwhile purpose? To raise money to help give disadvantaged and vulnerable children a better start in life.
So we have them set a challenge … to do 25 minutes of exercise a day for 25 days in support of Home-Start.
It doesn’t have to be consecutive days – they can have have the odd day off. And it can be any exercise they want – the only rule is that they have fun!!
So good luck everyone - you've got this!!!
Massive thanks to all those who sponsor them - it will all go to support families with young children who are struggling with anxiety, illness, bereavement, low income and isolation.
