The project is for a 40m x 20m third generation playing surface with rubber shock pad, green fencing,recessed goals and floodlights. It will cost around £100,000. The initial capital outlay is funded by two grants but Localgiving provided the the final funding element This contribution therefore made it possible and the MUGA will completed by the end of this July. OSCA Foundation has conducted detailed Strategic Needs analysis which shows high deprivation levels in relation to health, crime, education and employment, and it is important that the programme of activities addresses this. Broad consultation has taken place to ensure that the facilities and programme of activity matches the requirements of the local people. Results from the consultation gave major support for the proposals of the development as well as and contributing to community cohesion.
