The London Green Cycling Club is arranging a 500 kilometre (310 mile) charity ride over 4 days (30 July to 2 August). Inspired by last year's Tour de France stages in Yorkshire and London we will be riding a similar route from York to London culminating in the Prudential Ride London 100 mile cyclospotive.
As a team we are aiming to raise a total of £40,000 from individual and corporate sponsors. Riders have nominated a local or national social or environmental charity that is making a difference in their local area.

I am supporting the As You Are Centre, where my wife works as a volunteer counsellor, because they provide affordable counselling for people experiencing depression, stress and anxiety.
