Yes, it's finally time to raise my bat for the half-century (I never got anywhere near one playing cricket!)
I've got much to be thankful for -and thank God for. And I've got far more stuff than I need! So if good folk want to give me a birthday present, please make a donation to Streets 2 Homes, who work hard in Harlow to provide a better future for the homeless and others whose lives have gone a bit pear-shaped.
In times gone by, the crowd would pass a hat round for a collection if a player reached 50 not out. So please pass a "virtual" hat and offer something for this good cause!
