Seven years ago, I set up Holistic Harmonies with a simple vision: to bring people together through music, movement, and connection. Since then, we’ve co-created a vibrant community and delivered projects across Liverpool, including:

• Intergenerational Music & Movement groups

• Singing Mamas across Old Swan, Aigburth, Croxteth, Crosby & Wavertree

• Singing for Wellbeing groups and events

• Baby Massage courses

• Music in care homes and at the end of life

• Doorstep carol singing during lockdown

• Community discos – Boogie Days & Boogie Nights

We’ve also partnered with fantastic organisations such as Age Concern, Merseycare, The Brain Charity, Sefton Park Palm House, Liverpool Lighthouse and more.

Running a community organisation requires more than passion — it also means covering essential but less visible costs like:

• Accountancy & governance (GDPR, DBS, board meetings)

• Public liability insurance

• Website & booking systems

• Banking fees and admin

Our annual core costs average £3,000. These are vital to keep us operating, but often the hardest to fund through grants.
