Holistic Harmonies CIC was founded in Liverpool in 2018 by Rachel Waite to create inclusive spaces where music and movement bring people together.

Over the past seven years, the organisation has become a creative heartbeat for many communities across Liverpool. From Singing Mamas groups in Old Swan, Aigburth, Croxteth, Crosby and Wavertree, to Singing for Wellbeing sessions, intergenerational music projects, baby massage courses, community discos, and even doorstep carols during lockdown, Holistic Harmonies brings people of all ages together through song, rhythm and joy.

We have also delivered music sessions in palliative care settings and worked in partnership with organisations including Age Concern, Merseycare, Sefton Park Palm House and The Brain Charity, supporting hundreds of parents, children, older adults, and people facing isolation.

At the heart of Holistic Harmonies is the belief that music is medicine. Our work aims to make music accessible to everyone, regardless of background or circumstance, by offering free and subsidised bursary places alongside self-funded groups. Through music, we help people connect, improve their wellbeing, and experience the joy of singing together.
