For the homeless, a graveyard is a safe place to sleep - until winter time. At the CHESS night shelter they get a friendly smile, dry bed, food and drink; whatever the season.
Join us by raising awareness, rasing funds and raising hopes for the homeless in Chelmsford.
CHESS is a local homeless charity that my company, Countrywide Property Auctions support through our monthly "dress down" days; they do wonderful work for the homeless of Chelmsford; but they badly need your support.
Tonight, I will be joining the 8th Annual Sleepout; where I shall be joined by other volunteers and fundraisers by sleeping rough for the night. However, I get to go back to a cosy bed the following night; some in Chelmsford don't have that luxury. Please support my friends at CHESS by giving as much or as little as you can; and help them make the lives of those less fortunate than us a little more comfortable this winter.
