To raise funds for RTMinds June-a-thon, I'm teaming up with Adam Jenkins as we take on the C2C challenge with bike, paintbrushes and palette.

I will set off from Whitehaven on the Cumbrian coast, following the cycle route from Irish Sea to North Sea, on the 140 mile trail through the Lake District, on to the North Pennines and reaching journey's end at Tynemouth.

Adam will be applying his artistry in some of the region's most dramatic scenery on each day of our five stage tour, highlighting our adventures with artistic endeavour.
