As many of you know Alan passed away on the 28th of April 2020 after putting up a strong fight against coronavirus. Our hearts are broken and nothing can heal our pain but raising donations for these two charities seems like a fitting way of honouring Alans Memory.
Alan worked for the Yorkshire Ambulance service for nearly 20 Years. During this time he dedicated many hours to the NHS and helped a huge number of people. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance, being charity funded, is one charity that we have chosen in memory of Alan. Link available below:

As a child Alan was a member of the Scarborough Sea Cadets. The Sea cadets played a huge part in Alans life, as from this he went onto the Merchant Navy. This is where he discovered his love for travelling and being at sea. If it wasn't for the Sea Cadets Alan wouldn't have travelled the world, fallen in love with Japan and met the love of his life. For this reason we have chosen the Scarborough Sea Cadets as our second charity.
As many of you will not be able to attend the service due to the current circumstances we have set this page up as an alternative method of donation in memory of Alan. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
