Housing association Alliance Homes has chosen ‘Somewhere To Go’ as Charity of the Year for 2025, following a vote by colleagues and customers.

Somewhere To Go, a Weston-Super-Mare-based charity, provides practical support to local people facing homelessness, poverty, and social isolation. The charity offers vital services such as hot meals, shower facilities, clean clothing, and advice to help those in crisis rebuild their lives and find stability. 

As part of our fundraising efforts, this summer, Alliance Homes colleagues will take on the National Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon. This physically demanding event aims to raise awareness of the issues surrounding homelessness and will provide much-needed resources to support the charity’s ongoing work in Weston-Super-Mare.
