Yes, I have taken leave of my senses and been persuaded that it would be a good idea to cycle from one side of the country to the other this June to support local charity Live Like Ralph.
As a child I loved riding my Raleigh bike around Lytham. I used to think Wrea Green was a fair distance! However, that’s a mere warm up for this challenge.
I’ve agreed to get back in the saddle and at the age of 54, challenge myself to pedal 154 miles from Scarborough to Lytham.
Please keep my little legs pedalling by motivating me with any spare pennies you have for my fundraising pot thank you! Oh and come and cheer us home at Lytham Windmill on Sunday 14 June…please also bring chocolate & a ventilator!
