Great Midland Fun Run 2019
It’s just a few weeks to go until the Great Midlands Fun Run.
Caoimhe and I will be taking on the 8.5 mile challenge to raise funds for Our Place Support run by the amazing Kelly Round and her team.
2018/19 has been the most challenging yet with budget cuts to schools that traditionally fund our service teamed with a jump in the number of children who are struggling with Suicidal Thoughts and Self Harm.....children that need immediate and long term attention.
Our place Advice Café is also busier than ever demonstrating a clear need for support to navigate through complicated benefit and housing systems in order to keep themselves and their families in their home and out of food poverty.
