We all know Art Angel makes makes a huge impact on peoples lives, using creativity in a safe space to act as a catalyst for better mental wellbeing. We would like to expand on what we do at Art Angel and offer a range of trips and excursions. Most of our participants only travel between Art Angel and their homes but are otherwise isolated and often not getting new opportunities to explore new places. This will encourage their creativity and inspiration, showing each individual that they can go beyond their own  expectations and limiting beliefs. Through this we will nurture self worth and confidence together.

By leaving the studio we are moving into a wide range of spaces to make, create and explore using the landscapes and cities as extended studios.

The cost of living is prevents so many of our people from having the option to try new things and we want to change that! Our goal for creating these adventures is to build a deeper connection with one another and encourage further collaborations. This opportunity will transform people’s lives promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.

Art Angel is a community based arts and mental health project in Dundee run for and by the people with experience of mental health emotional distress. We provide access to a wide range of arts based activities in an equal and inclusive environment, allowing people to recover and maintain good mental health on their own terms and at their own pace. This gives them an opportunity to redefine themselves as creative individuals with much to offer to the community.
