Team Fundraisers
The Bath Marches is a fundraising event in Bath, this year held on Saturday 3rd September and it's a brilliant way for charities to fundraise. It consists of 3 different length walks depending on agility, 4 mile, 10 mile and 15 mile routes. It starts at the Bath Recreation Ground (rugby pitch) and each walk is marked out.
It won't surprise you that The Bath Marches were conceived over a beer. Veterans from all services have always enjoyed hatching ideas and so a small group of like minded souls have made it happen.
If you would like to be involved in supporting the event on the day then you'll be joining an illustrious bunch drawn from The Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army and RAF.
Since launching the following Units (some sadly no longer with us!) were represented at the event.
Royal Marines and Royal Air Force. And from the Army: Army Air Corps, Duke of Wellington's Regiment, The Gurkhas, Parachute Regiment, Royal Artillery, Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment, Royal Engineers, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Royal Irish Regiment, Royal Logistics Corps, Royal Signals, Small Arms School Corps, The Rifles, The Somerset Light Infantry.
