Team Fundraisers
Our Place Support is a community organisation delivering key services which support people during their time of need, this includes a Mentoring Scheme for children and young people dealing with social, emotional and mental health challenges and an Advice Service open to all people in North Birmingham who need help and support in housing, benefits and unemployment. We also run a Community Hub in the centre of Sutton Coldfield, a vital asset which provides access to over 20 different support services offering a wide range of help and advice.
All of our services have grown significantly over the recent years as we respond to the increased mental health needs of our children and young people and the negative health and financial impact individuals and families are experiencing as a result if the Covid pandemic and current Cost of Living Crisis.
The Event
The Royal Sutton Fun Run has been a fundraising event that has supported the work of Our Place over the last 11 years with many people taking part to raise the vital funds we need to continue delivering our services.
I'm dusting off my running shoes and hoping to raise a little bit of money to go towards all the work we do at Our Place. I've walked the course before and attempted a little jog here and there but this will be the first time I will attempt the course as a runner. Any donations would be greatly appreciated - Beth
