CHISVA stands for Children & Young People's Independent Sexual Violence Advisor.
The service is intended ti improve and standardise the care provided to children and young people in Nottinghamshire who have experienced sexual abuse.
The CHISVA's
-carry out a safety and support assessment
-provide practical and emotional support and advocacy
-provide impartial and accurate information to help clients make informed decisions
-signpost to relevant services and sources of support
