My niece Alice passed away in 2021 at the age of 14. She was bright, funny, curious and always up for a big adventure. She adored spending time with horses and had a special connection with them. So on what would have been Alice's 18th birthday (17 December 2024), I will be forcing myself far outside my comfort zone by riding the world's fastest zip line (head first at up to 100 mph) across the Penrhyn Quarry in North Wales. To honour Alice's short life, I will be raising money for Equine Partners, a local charity which I am sure she would have loved.
