We would like our youth members to experience the benefits of hiking in their lives. Simply put, hiking does transform lives.
At 1,085 metres above sea level, Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales. Situated in the glorious mountain range of Snowdonia, you’ll be treated to spectacular views at the summit.
This October, over 20 young people and supporting staff will climb Mount Snowdon, experiencing nature, conquering fears and challenging fixed mindsets and unbeneficial beliefs.
At the Mentoring Lab, each year we support an average of 500 young people from Black and marginalised communities via free mentoring, advocacy and holiday programmes. Since 2019 we have been committed to supporting our youth members struggling with educational injustices and making progress in their goals and ambitions.
Our mentoring provides children with the tools to improve the quality of their life as they transition from adolescence to adulthood, empowering young people and creating opportunities to build their resilience and attitude toward life.
With your help, The Mentoring Lab will be able to continue to provide young people, with culturally sensitive mentoring and advocacy support, resources and the opportunities essential to reflect, explore, reframe and develop the qualities and characteristics to thrive.
We need you more than ever. Please donate and share this information with your networks.
