Can you spare five pounds to brighten a client's day this Christmas?

TARGET EXTENDED: Thanks to your generosity we have met our target in just over a week so we've decided to extend it to £500. Extra donated funds will be put towards the costs of providing our Xmas bash.

This Christmas we'd like to spread a bit of cheer with a small gift for each of our clients - a £5 universal gift card.

Each year, on the final day before we close for Christmas, clients enjoy an Xmas bash with festive tunes, a visit from Santa, and of course Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. Many of our clients are isolated from friends and families, and don't get to enjoy the festivities many of us might take for granted.

While wooly hats and hand warmers can make lovely gifts, for rough sleepers these are everyday items necessary for survival. They are also accessible throughout the year at services like ours. A gift card gives our clients the freedom to spend on something nice for themselves, without the associated risk of giving out cash.

We've set a goal of £250, which would enable us to get 50 gift cards - ensuring we have enough for all who visit during the last few days of service. If we surpass this goal, any excess funds will be put towards our Xmas bash.
