🌙 Ramadan 2026: 5 Years of Community, Connection & Compassion
This Ramadan marks five beautiful years of gathering together as a family at the Freedom Youth Club. For half a decade, our Friday iftaars have been a place where young people could arrive as they are — and leave feeling seen, supported, and spiritually uplifted.
This year, we want to continue that tradition.
Every Friday, we hope to lay out a table where:
🍽 Food is shared
🕌 Prayers are made
🤝 Hearts are connected
✨ No one sits alone
For many of our young people in Leicester, these iftaars are more than just meals — they are a lifeline. A reminder that community still exists. That they belong. That Ramadan can be a month of joy and togetherness.
To make this possible, we are asking for your help.
We are seeking financial contributions and food donations to host four community iftaars this Ramadan.
Your support means:
A young person eats with dignity, not anxiety
A teenager prays beside friends instead of in isolation
A soul feels welcomed back into community
You’re not just donating food.
You’re giving belonging.
You’re giving home.
If you are able to help, we would be deeply grateful.
May Allah reward every intention, every penny, every plate. 🤲✨
Let’s make five years unforgettable.
Let’s make Ramadan heartfelt.
Let’s do this together.
